The Cape Canaveral Lighthouse surrounded by early morning fog is both beautiful and surreal. Sometimes it looks like the Lighthouse is floating off of the ground with low hanging fog hiding it\u2019s lower base.  Most of The Cape is undeveloped out by the launch pads and launch sites, so conditions are ripe for fog when the rare and cool Florida air mixes with the warm air over the waters of the Banana River to the West and the Atlantic Ocean to the East. The moist air cools and when the humidity reaches a 100% a soft and opaque fog settles and envelops a large portion of The Cape including the Lighthouse and Launch sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
