Lets go back to 1994 and see what the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse looked like before any restoration started on the Oil House and Lighthouse Keepers Quarters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cape Canaveral light was established in 1848 to warn ships of the dangerous shoals that lie off its coast of the East Coast of Florida. It is located inside the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and managed by the Space Launch Delta 45 of the US Space Force with the assistance of the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lighthouse is 151 feet tall and contains 167 steps from its interior base to the height of its lamp room. It has five interior floors that are accessible by the stairway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fast Forward to 2019 and a new Lighthouse Keepers House has been built. Below are several photos taken in 2019 during a warm October Sunrise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
