One of my favorite spots to stop in the early morning on the way to work to catch the sunrise was Complex 14. This was John Glenn\\’s launch complex for America\\’s first manned orbital flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lots more to come on this site – here are a few early morning photos as you approach the complex – there is a sign with all the Manned Orbital launches and a monument to John\\’s flight and as you drive towards the Blockhouse – the parking stops still contain the names of the astronauts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
